Her feet were hideous. She had never noticed it before, the way her toes were twisted and turned from so many years on the streets without shoes. Her toenails were long and cracked, and half of them had fallen off. The image of her feet and the bellbottoms of her black jeans burned itself into her memory. Her head lolled to the side in a hazy fashion. She never had paid attention to her feet like other girls.
Tick tock...little girl...
A finger twitched faintly. The feeling in her bones was weak, and the ability to move the majority of her body had disappeared
